Hi,

My board at http://geox.easyphpbb.com/ has been working fine for some time now.

Recently, however, some new signups have been experiencing problems in the activation of their user accounts. (Configuration is set to "USER" activation in the admin controls.)

The issue seems to be that initial "activation e-mails" are not being received by new users. Existing users who attempt to change their own e-mail addresses, have to re-activate - and this also gives problems. I've also noticed that some PM notifications are not coming to hand, or are running very late.

This all points to an issue with outgoing e-mails from the server. Could I ask EasyPhpBB please to look into this, check my parameter settings (in case I made an error) and perhaps run a few tests?

Thanks,

-GxAdmin

This is very depressing. Sad

My board has been very successful up to now, with over 50 members recruited in only a few months.

But now I'm not getting new members at this rate, because they cannot activate their accounts. PM notifications by e-mail don't work either.

These e-mails are not simply delayed - they never appear.

It would be really helpful if we could get some intelligible information on this problem, and when it might be fixed.
