I've been getting an awful amount of spam adverts. For example

And other stuff for casinos etc. Its about 3 per day at the moment and as soon as I delete them, some bugger else signs up and posts something else rubbish!
Is anyone else having the same problem?
We have noticed that all the "spam" users are using similar email address - .....@cashette.com or ....@mail.ru As a result I have added *@cashette.com or *@mail.ru to the ban list meaning anyone with an address ending in this cannot join. We haven't had any spam for a whole day!
Anymore ideas to prevent this in future?

Yeah that's a general phpbb problem. Main thing it to turn on visual confirm mod and maybe email activiation.
If you have guests forums stop them from posting there.
