this tutorial is how to help you make mods and how to hided them and how add them to the fourm you want. follow these few steps and you will add mods and make them.

the guide below is how to make mods;

• go to your site and go into the Admin CP
  
• go under Group Admin and click on Management
  
• click on Create new group
  
• make a name you want your user group to be
  
• add a description if you want too. put your Group moderator as your admin name.
  
• click on one of the O's you want your Group status to be
  
• click submit and your done. you just made a mod.
  

the guide below is how to add mods;

• go to your site and go into the Admin CP
  
• go under Group Admin and click on Permissions
  
• Select a group and click on Look up Group
  
• something like this should show up; Forum Simple Permissions Moderator status. look under fourm to see what fourm you want a user group to mod. and click on Not Moderator and put Is Moderator.
  
• pick the other fourms you want to add that user group you selected and go down to the bottom and click submit. and your done. if you want other mods you want to add to fourms do this guide over again.
  

the guide below is how to add a single user as a mod without making a user group;

• go to your Admin CP
  
• look for User Admin under it click Permissions
  
• put in the name you want to make mod
  
• submit
  
• you should see all the forums and something saying this; "Forum Simple Permissions Moderator status "
  
• under Moderator status you should see it saying Not Moderator.
  
• click on it and look for Is Moderator and click on it and keep on doing that for all the forums you want him or her to be a Single Moderator. (not in a user group.

The only way I could get my moderators names to show up as there names, next to the forum there moderating,was to call the group name after them, so instead of whisky as the group name its Alan, that works but looks a little wierd if you click on his name and it says group name!
