Hey Admin n nightmare,
I wanted to increase the Max size of my forum AVATARS to 16 Kb from 9 Kb.
How do I do it???
I tried doin it from the Admin Panel under Configuration. But it comes back to 9 Kb.
PLeeez help or Advice!!

admin n nightmare I like that lol, heres how to do it;
Configuration / Avatar Settings / Maximum Avatar File Size / 9144 to ??? the size you want. NOTE that it is bytes. and bytes are smaller than a kb so you might have to try different sizes / submit. _________________ EasyPHPBB Support Mod from 07/07/05 to 01/14/07.

Well,
Thanx for replyin nightmare!!! I already did that before i posted here!!
I tried puttin 16384 as the max size (16Kb). But it comes back to 9Kb next time again!!!

Yeah those settings are coded in so they can not be changed.
I can increase it though to a reasonable amount.
Just tell me the forum url.

Most forum admins are more worried about keeping avatars SMALL - so that they don't take up all the column space!
If you really want huge avatars, you need to enable them to be linked from off-site:
CONFIGURATION> AVATAR SETTINGS> Enable remote avatars - Yes
The size and dimension limit has no effect on these.
