After our forums have been up a while, we're starting to get alot of spam. We would like to set our forums up in a way that a user would have to be approved (by an admin) before becoming registered.

We would rather have to approve a new user, than to have to delete tons of unwanted spam.

Isn't there an easy way to do this?

I will install some spam filters such as RECAPTcha
